Found unconscious at the foot of the stairs, Vanessa is rushed to hospital. Was it an accident - or something more sinister? While the real Vanessa lies in a coma, her devoted twin decides to take her place, determined to find out if someone attempted to kill his sister.
Superbly disguised as a woman, Vance joins in the self-absorbed retinue at the home of the reclusive millionaire who maintained Vanessa. Faking amnesia is an effective cover but he soon finds that it's a double-edged sword. Yet the real problem is Gloriana, Vanessa's beautiful Angora cat, who regards her new mistress with suspicion.
If the cat can't be won over, the whole charade is in danger of being exposed.
