This recording, now available on 2 CDs, was recorded in the mid nineties and is a beginners guide to our solar system. In a wide ranging talk, he touches on the many ancient beliefs and myths that once existed about the planets, and also gives us tips on how we, the listener, can begin to observe the skies above our head. Above all it is a record of a great man many of us have grown up to admire.
As those who saw Brian Cox and Brian May on the 700th edition of The Sky at Night can attest, he is held in very high regard.
